A med spa site the owner
updates herself.

Innovations Wellness & MedSpa is a nurse-practitioner-led med spa in Canton, Georgia. The recurring job on their site is the monthly specials flyer, which used to mean emailing an image and waiting for a developer. We templated the specials page and built a password-protected admin panel so the owner publishes it herself — and every publish is a git commit under her admin account.

What we built

The specials page, templated and self-serve.

The specials page is generated from a JSON data island between markers in the HTML. The admin panel at /admin/specials takes a password login, a flyer image and the month's offers, writes the new data through the GitHub contents API as a commit authored by the owner's admin account, and the hosting platform redeploys automatically. An email notification lands with us on every publish so nothing goes out unseen.

The rest of the site — services, providers, memberships, legal pages — is a 24-page static site with the owner's online store linked from the navigation. Git is the source of truth; nothing is deployed from a laptop anymore, which was the history that led to this build.

The site carries third-party booking and chat embeds the practice relies on, and those are the reason its mobile performance score trails our other builds. We say so rather than hide it.

  • Static site on Vercel, git-connected: push to main deploys production
  • Templated specials page with START/END markers and a JSON data island regenerated by a shared library
  • /admin/specials panel: scrypt password hash and session secret in hosting environment variables, publish via GitHub contents API, Web3Forms notification
  • Admin link in the footer of every page; /admin/ and /api/ disallowed in robots.txt
  • Online store (Stan Store) linked in the navigation; monthly flyer workflow documented for the owner
One measured result
24 pages · 1 panel

A 24-page site where the one thing that changes every month — the specials — is published by the owner from a password-protected panel, with each publish committed to git under her name.

Mobile Lighthouse on the live homepage measured 75 performance / 100 best practices on Nov 3, 2026; the booking and chat embeds the practice requires are the cost, and we chose to keep them.

Why it matters

Recurring updates should not need a developer.

For a med spa, the monthly special is the marketing. If publishing it takes a ticket and a wait, it goes out late or not at all. A tiny admin panel that does exactly one thing, safely, and leaves a git history behind is more valuable to this client than any redesign.

It is also the pattern we now offer every Central Florida client with a recurring update: a partners list, a seasonal price sheet, a monthly promotion. Static site, one editable thing, no CMS to maintain.
