A lawn restoration site rooted in
Sumter County soil.

Oxford Lawn restores lawns the slow way — compost topdressing, core aeration and dethatching instead of re-sodding and synthetics — for homeowners across The Villages, Wildwood and the rest of Sumter County, from a base in Oxford on US-301. Their old site lived on a domain-registrar page builder. We built them a fast, licensed-and-credentialed site ready for the cutover.

What we built

Services, process, areas served — and the licenses that matter.

The structure is the one that ranks for a lawn company: a services hub, a clear our-process page for a method most homeowners have never heard of, an areas-served section for The Villages, Wildwood and the surrounding Sumter County communities, resources, and an about page that puts the founders' Florida Limited Commercial Fertilizer Applicator licenses and Master Gardener certification where a cautious retiree will look for them.

The copy was written from the owner's own description of the method, not a lawn-care template, and the design leans on the brand's green and earth tones with a free-assessment call to action on every page. A cookie notice keeps analytics opt-in. A DIY quote tool is stubbed for a later phase once the client supplies pricing.

Deployment is to an ARC-hosted Vercel project; the domain cutover is held until the client signs off, which is why the screenshot above comes from the staging URL.

  • Hand-coded static site on Vercel, responsive WebP photography, self-hosted fonts
  • LocalBusiness and Service JSON-LD with the applicator license numbers as credentials
  • Service-area pages for The Villages, Wildwood and Sumter County communities
  • Free-assessment form, click-to-call, and a footer link to the client's ARC Rankings AI blog
  • Launch checklist prepared: redirects from the old builder URLs, sitemap, Search Console

Why it matters

Why a lawn company in Oxford needs this kind of site.

Oxford sits on US-301 between Wildwood and The Villages, and nearly every customer is a retiree in a 55+ neighborhood who searches on a phone and reads reviews before calling. A site that loads instantly on mobile, shows real licenses and explains an unfamiliar method in plain language is the difference between a call and a bounce.

The build is also the foundation for the ranking work. This client's ARC Rankings AI subscription publishes to a blog subdomain on their domain; the website carries the service-area structure and schema those articles link back into. One system, two halves.
